Strawberry Pops

Strawberry Pops has been a long-standing tradition in Winchester. Working in conjunction with the Director of Music, the FOM organizes an outdoor public concert featuring the talents of the high school choral and instrumental groups, accompanied by, of course, strawberry shortcake. For many students, it is their final concert for WHS. In recent years, however, with the loss of the prom tent, the Pops has had to change venues to the courtyard outside the art room and has had major cost increases associated with providing its own lighting, sound and staging. With heavy publicity the new location has caught on, with families bringing blankets and picnics to enjoy the concert.
