Artists Who Mother... Must Women Choose?

In March 2009 we wish to screen the documentary, "Who Does She Think She Is?", by Pamela Boll, and conclude with a panel discussion and audience questions. The film presents the lives of five women artists who are also mothers; it focuses on their efforts to pursue their artistic endeavors while mothering their children and encountering challenges of financial difficulties and absence of institutional support. The panel would consist of the Director, a local artist presented in the film, and several other Winchester artists who are mothers. The target audience would be comprised primarily of adults interested in the arts plus some older students. We plan to hold the screening at McCall Middle School or the Griffin Museum.
