The Tanglewood Marionettes will bring a self contained marionette stage to our school and perform 3 shows of "The Dragon King", and underwater fantasy based on Chinese folklore with stunning stage effects and marionette artistry. The first two shows will be held during school hours for about 500 Muraco students and staff from Kindergarten to Grade 5. The third show will be after school and open to about 250 additional Winchester residents from other Elementary and Preschools in Winchester. All the shows are 50 min each and will be held at the Muraco Gym between Feb and May 2009. MESPA will sponsor $580 and requests a WCC grant of $1100 for this project to serve a total of 750 Winchester residents.
