Ballet Arts Centre of Winchester was founded in 1990 with the goal of offering the surrounding area a unique, quality "Program of Dance" designed to meet the needs of a wide range of students of varying ages and levels. In the years since, the school has become an established and integral part of the community we serve, drawing a student population from as many as twenty greater Boston cities and towns.
Our program is based on the commitment to provide the highest quality of instruction from an exceptional faculty, trained not only as dancers, but as caring educators able to address the needs of each individual student. Our aim is to develop well-rounded dancers by stressing the study of ballet — the foundation of all dance forms — while also offering the more contemporary styles of jazz, tap, and modern dance. The program is designed to offer each student a secure foundation from which to advance, and progressive levels based on a graded syllabus, which assures a high standard of training.
