The Winchester Chamber of Commerce invites the community of Winchester to participate in a 4th of July House Decorating Contest. Families are encouraged to decorate the outside of their homes in a manner that shows community spirit and follows the themes of “Independence Day” and “America.” The side of the house that is most visible from the street should be decorated. That way, the judges will see displays without having to exit their vehicles and safe social distancing guidelines are maintained.
Free registration by July 1st is required to be included in the judging. The judging will take place on Thursday, July 2, 2020. There will be a daytime judging and an evening judging. For more information, see winchesterchamber.com.
The Winchester Chamber hopes that everyone uses this opportunity to get creative and have fun together as we celebrate 4th of July in our town. In recognition of the disappointment of not being able to come together, it is hoped that the contest will provide the community an opportunity to celebrate in a creative way.
