Host businesses agree to display artwork from one or more participating artists. The display location may be in the window or inside the business. Thanks to support from the Town of Winchester, there is no participation fee.
The Art in August committee will be responsible for pairing artists with your business, unless you have an ongoing relationship with a participating artist and request to be paired with that artist. Artists are required to communicate and coordinate their displays with their assigned business partner. As a host business, the final display must be approved by you. Any issues should be brought to the attention of the Art in August committee through Peter Pulsifer, the liaison between artists and businesses.
The deadline for registration is Monday, July 1, 2024. (Post deadline submissions will be considered, on a space-available basis!)
We are planning a general public reception celebrating all artists and participating businesses on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 1. Admission is free!
Individual artist receptions are held on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. (on August 8, 15, and 22).
