As a participating artist you will be afforded the opportunity to show your work in a downtown business and have a local reception if you choose to. Please communicate with your business host to make sure a good relationship is maintained. Any issues must be brought to the attention to the Art in August committee (Peter Pulsifer) immediately.
Thanks to support from the town of Winchester, no payment is required for Art in August.
The deadline for registration is Monday, July 20, 2026. (Post deadline submissions will be considered, on a space-available basis, but there's no guarantee you'll be listed in the program.)
We are planning a general public reception celebrating all artists and participating businesses on the evening of Thursday, August 6. Admission is free!
Meet your public! Some participating businesses will host receptions for their artists on Thursday evenings from 6–8 p.m. You may request a reception, but please note that if we match you with a host for a reception, we ask that you attend and provide the refreshments.
Help with Art in the Park: Art in the Park will be held Saturday, Aug. 15 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Come display, demonstrate, or join in hands-on art making for all. You may show (and sell) your own art, or volunteer to help with the event.
