Engaging depictions of folktales through puppetry will dramatize the history of Winchester's past and present immigrants and deepen the ethnic esteem and the unity of its people. Five nationalities will be represented in an hour-long set, to be repeated in the afternoon, for a total of ten performances. The use of traditional artifacts, puppets, music, key language phrases, and participatory activities will further enliven old stories with great messages that must not be forgotten amongst the ancestors. Neighbors' hearts further open to the universal truths we all share.

This family friendly experience is part of International Day at the Market, produced by the Winchester Farmer's Market. It coordinates well with the mission of the Farmer's Market in providing wholesome foods, including foods with foreign origins, to residents.
